Review and refresh designs based on requirements

Perform hydraulic system, avionics, and structural assessments

Conduct structural and weight evaluations

Participate in design reviews and requirements analysis

Explain design responsibilities in proposals and assist with supplier SOWs

Support integration of propulsion and landing gear systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Proven experience as a Design Engineer (Level III or higher)

Expertise in Aero design

Expertise in Landing gear

Expertise in Hydraulics

Expertise in Structural and weight assessments

Expertise in Integration and propulsion systems

Familiarity with CATIA (preferably V5) and MATLAB

Preferred

Experience with supplier SOWs and proposal writing

Background in DoD or civilian aircraft design (rocket design experience acceptable)

Prior testing experience
