Responsibilities

Providing accurate, timely and effective provision of laboratory support
Exhibiting excellent customer service skills in line with the Mercy Signature Service with all internal and external customer interactions
Skillful acquisition of laboratory specimens for testing, utilizing safe, accurate, effective, professional methodologies while observing HIPAA confidentiality requirements and lab policies
Responsible for all processing, transport and referral of all types of laboratory specimens and reports as required
Performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards

Qualification

BLS certificationClinical laboratory experienceChemistry coursesBiology coursesCustomer service skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
BLS within 6 months of hire

Preferred

College level Chemistry, Biology or other Science courses
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory
