Responsibilities
Lead test planning, design, automation, execution, and reporting to ensure delivered products meet Insulet software standards
Lead software test efforts in Agile software development environment
Collaborate with product management, development, systems analysts, and project management to testing efforts align with project goals and objectives
Manage test team members by establishing goals, communicating them, and assessing progress
Mentor and motivate software testers to develop thorough test plans following testing best practices and patterns
Collaborate with team to triage and prioritize incoming issues-- refine problem description, determine reproduction steps, and identify next steps
Evaluate technologies for automation of test cases
Work with senior team members to plan and execute project objectives; provide detailed and timely status; identify risk mitigations when needed
Learn and follow Insulet design assurance SOPs
Provide timely support to team customers, internal and external
Respond to production escalations and coordinate resolution amongst team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent of experience in lieu of degree
10+ years software test experience
5+ years leading software test teams
2+ years managing direct reports
Lead test planning, design, automation, execution, and reporting to ensure delivered products meet Insulet software standards
Lead software test efforts in Agile software development environment
Collaborate with product management, development, systems analysts, and project management to testing efforts align with project goals and objectives
Manage test team members by establishing goals, communicating them, and assessing progress
Mentor and motivate software testers to develop thorough test plans following testing best practices and patterns
Collaborate with team to triage and prioritize incoming issues-- refine problem description, determine reproduction steps, and identify next steps

Preferred
Strong understanding of Cloud architectural patterns and design
Experience leading Agile software testing
Experience testing distributing architectures and data streaming/processing
Experience testing AWS solutions, e.g. ECS, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, KMS
Experience programming in Java and/or Python
Experience with document, time series, distributed data storage and processing
Experience with Git
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience with FDA and data privacy regulations a plus
