Responsibilities
Assist in developing firmware used on a variety of electronic hardware
Develop and debug firmware for embedded controllers following the standards and principles of the R&D team
Work closely with the hardware team, debugging circuit boards and ensuring the product passes agency testing
Work in a project team environment with internal and external customers to create new products or improve existing products
Occasionally develop mobile applications for smart phones, tablets or PCs for panel and alarm products
Qualification
Required
Experience with Embedded C with and without the use of a Real-Time Operating System
Debugging embedded systems
Experience with I2C, UART, and SPI interfaces, UI/UX development
Knowledge of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other wireless protocols
A 4-year degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
1-2 years of experience
