The role involves working closely with the founder to develop and refine product concepts, translating high-level principles into actionable product systems while addressing complex tensions between engagement, data integrity, and trust.

Responsibilities
Work directly with the founder to dissect, stress-test, and refine core product concepts
Translate high-level principles into: Clear product rules, Interaction constraints, System logic designers and engineers can implement
Identify tensions between: Engagement vs data integrity, Openness vs manipulation, Incentives vs trust
Define product modes, boundaries, and invariants (what must never break)
Act as the conceptual backbone for: Poll mechanics, Feed behavior, Incentive structures, Research archives
Help create internal documentation that explains why the system works, not just how
Qualification
Required
You naturally think in systems, incentives, and consequences
You enjoy long-form reasoning and rigorous discussion
You can hold abstract concepts and concrete constraints in your head at the same time
You are comfortable saying 'this doesn't work' and explaining why
You respect data, truth, and intellectual honesty more than hype
