Responsibilities

Manage worldwide financial consolidations for John Deere Financial
Lead preparation of quarterly SEC filings for John Deere Capital Corporation
Provide direction and coaching to team members supporting consolidations and SEC reporting
Conduct technical accounting research and deliver guidance to business units
Collaborate with finance, tax, internal and external auditors, and other teams on JDF-related issues
Drive process improvements and automation within consolidations and SEC reporting

Qualification

US GAAP knowledgeSEC reporting experienceAccounting experienceCertified Public AccountantAnalytical skillsProcess improvementCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

7 or more years of accounting or audit experience
Strong US GAAP knowledge, including ability to research complex accounting topics
Experience preparing or reviewing US GAAP audited financial statements and knowledge of SEC reporting requirements (e.g. Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines
Track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflows
Understanding of the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting
Bachelor's degree in accounting

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Financial services experience
