Responsibilities

Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail
Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures
Responsible to analyze, design, implement, test, and train on our automated equipment and production processes
Will lead the team and will work closely with production, maintenance, manufacturing and process engineering
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Analyze, recommend and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, which will benefit from automation techniques
Support during automated equipment breakdowns, and technical issues which may include troubleshooting down to the plc, fixturing or component level
Creates meaningful metrics to track and improve the uptime, productivity, and product quality
Utilize Lean methodology and problem solving tools to investigate and resolve recurring equipment issues
Direct and instruct both internal employees and external contractors during projects or advanced technical troubleshooting
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service
Be familiar with product design and process validations
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Participate in cross function reliability teams to ensure equipment availability is maximized
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required

At least five years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
