Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement AI models tailored to railroad operations (predictive maintenance, scheduling, safety monitoring)

Build scalable AI systems to analyze real-time data from rail infrastructure, rolling stock, and IoT devices

Collect, preprocess, and clean data from sensors, GPS, and maintenance logs for AI model training

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify operational trends

Build and maintain ETL pipelines for AI applications

Fine-tune algorithms for train scheduling, route planning, and fuel efficiency

Support automation of operational processes using AI-powered tools

Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate AI solutions into production

Ensure compliance with railroad industry standards

Monitor deployed models for accuracy and scalability

Troubleshoot, retrain, and update models as needed

Partner with cross-functional teams to enable AI-driven solutions
