Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an innovative AI-Enabled Solutions Developer to join their enterprise Program Management Office. This role focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development tools to build and deploy applications that support defense contract management operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Program Management Portal using modern web frameworks and database technologies

Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks

Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate solution delivery

Translate business requirements into application architecture and functional specifications

Design and implement database schemas, APIs, and integration points with existing business systems

Conduct rapid prototyping to validate concepts with stakeholders before full development

Debug, test, and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality and performance standards

Create technical documentation for developed solutions

Collaborate with program managers to identify automation opportunities and efficiency improvements

Support integration with enterprise tools including Smartsheet, financial systems, and reporting platforms

Maintain and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and evolving requirements

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards

Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system

Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections

Required

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or technical solution delivery

Demonstrated proficiency with modern web development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)

Experience with mobile application development (React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android)

Working knowledge of database design and SQL

Familiarity with API development and integration (REST, GraphQL)

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for development acceleration

Strong problem-solving capabilities with ability to decompose complex requirements into technical solutions

Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders

U.S. Citizenship required

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance
