Director of Sales - Grocery - CPWS Texas

Responsibilities
Drive achievement of sales goals by regularly evaluating business partner relationships, identifying new opportunities, and optimizing current sales and service levels
Lead and manage the sales team to maximize revenue and profitability across assigned grocery accounts
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members; set clear expectations and monitor progress
Ensure timely and effective communication of promotions, programs, and initiatives to the sales team
Attract, retain, and motivate top talent to foster an engaging, high-performance work environment while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Build and develop a high-performing sales team through leadership, training, and development initiatives
Deliver accurate and timely summaries of sales activity and performance to relevant stakeholders
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for skill development, training, and improvement
Monitor market trends and gather business intelligence to inform strategic decisions
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven years of relevant experience
Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends
Preferred
Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications software
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all level of management
Interpersonal skills necessary to lead a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders
Knowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics
Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and lead colleagues and direct reports by example in an intense and fast-paced business environment
Must require little direction or supervision; goal-oriented focused, and assertive
Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain high level of quality output
Strong analytical, leadership and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to understand and manage budgets, profitability, and expenses
