Responsibilities

Preparation of technical specifications and design drawings in support of environmental remediation projects including remedial system design, vapor intrusion mitigation, remedial excavation, chemical injections, pilot tests and feasibility studies

Management and preparation of Environmental Subsurface Investigations, Indoor Air Quality Investigations, Community Air Monitoring Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and other environmental assessments and investigations

Perform field work including construction inspections and soil, stormwater, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling

Remedial Investigation Work Plan Preparation, Implementation and Oversight

Prepare remedial cost estimates and develop proposals for implementation of the work

Required

B.S. or B.A. in environmental engineering, science, geology or related field

0 to 2 years of environmental consulting experience

Valid Driver's License

Demonstrates excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgment, and knowledge of scientific principles

Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic

Strong quality assurance/quality control skills to perform technical, style and consistency reviews

Ability to manage time and multiple project assignments

Working knowledge of health and safety practices

Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel

Ability to work in a project team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

40-hr HAZWOPER and 10-hr Construction certification would be a plus

Exposure to environmental consulting work in New York City a plus
