Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, testing and validation of product/processes for advanced radar products from prototype to market
Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements
Execute and plan project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc)
Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center
Troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues
Establish and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
Suggest enhancements to advance projects and products
Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology
Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product adherence to specifications and quality standards
Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Hardware engineering
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Preferred

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is of value
Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools
Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance program demands
Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks
