Responsibilities
Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to delivery based on product roadmap
Software analysis, code analysis, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
Develop REST APIs, work on integrations with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Okta and partners platforms
Take pride in software quality through rigorous functional testing and writing automated unit tests
Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks
Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and performing handoff, writing runbooks for operational tasks, creating metrics dashboard, knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of professional, hands-on full-stack software development experience with proficiency in microservices across AWS
RESTful API design and development experience Java on Cloud Platforms
Experience building backend services on Node.js
Experience in Cloud Services Logging, Monitoring and Observability using tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog etc
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL or AWS managed database services such as Amazon RDS and DynamoDB
Extensive, hands-on experience across core AWS services and modern DevOps tooling
Compute & Serverless: AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS RDS
Containerization: AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR)
Networking & Delivery: CloudFront
Messaging & Queuing: AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS)
Security: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Infrastructure/OS: Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Docker
Experience with Rancher Platform for EKS
Strong commitment to Automated Test-Driven Development (TDD), including writing comprehensive unit and integration tests
Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit (for Java) and Jest (for Javascript)
A good understanding of algorithms and data structures
Preferred
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools, particularly Argos and Spinnaker, is a significant advantage
