The selected candidate will design and architect the entire front-end framework, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services and APIs, while also serving as the sole front-end engineer on the team.

Responsibilities
Lead the front-end architecture and design for a mission-critical, large-scale web application
Develop and maintain highly responsive UI components using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Define best practices for front-end and API integration with back-end RESTful services
Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows using OAuth2, OIDC, and OpenSAML
Collaborate closely with back-end engineers, architects, and product owners to ensure system-wide cohesion
Own front-end technical decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
Provide mentorship and establish coding standards, even as the sole front-end resource
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience with React (deep expertise required)
Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST API integration
Proven track record designing and architecting complex front-end applications
Strong expertise with OAuth2, OIDC, and OpenSAML authentication frameworks
Preferred
Experience working in federal or enterprise-scale projects
Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Particularly GCP)
Background in mentoring or leading front-end teams
Ability to work independently as the primary front-end engineer on a large-scale application
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
