Munson Healthcare is seeking a Central Processing Technician to join their diverse team. The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, processing, assembling, storing, and distributing medical instruments to ensure safe patient care.

Responsibilities

Retrieving and processing used instruments

Processing instruments with various chemicals to sterilize the instruments for future use

Ensuring the organization has an adequate inventory of instruments as needed

Overseeing the sterilization of instruments across different departments

Providing updates to Surgeons and other medical professionals throughout the day

Working with Surgical Technicians to ensure instruments are set properly in operating rooms upcoming operations

Required

High school graduate

Must have excellent organizational skills

Must have good communication skills

Must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella

Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
