The Civil Engineering Intern will assist the design team with engineering tasks, preparing technical reports, permit applications, and performing site investigations while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

Responsibilities

Working in collaboration with the design team to assist in the preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents

Assist with the preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction

Coordination with permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project

Periodic travel to perform site investigations and construction observation

Review of specifications and shop drawings, field observations, preparation of inspection reports, and other construction administration tasks

Research, interpretation, and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and/or working towards obtaining a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Ability to consistently work 16-20 hours a week throughout the year is required
