Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize software for UAS and robotics applications using Python
Implement and customize ArduPilot-based flight controllers and autonomous features
Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensor data, conduct simulations, and perform field testing
Troubleshoot and refine systems for reliable performance in dynamic environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Equivalent experience is an acceptable substitute
Proven experience in Python and/or general programming for robotics or embedded systems
Strong understanding of machine learning applications in robotics
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI across diverse areas
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment
Preferred
Hands-on experience with UAS/robotics platforms and familiarity with ArduPilot
Experience with flight testing, hardware integration, and performance tuning is a plus
Experience working directly with U.S. military or DoD organizations. Prior service is a plus
