The role involves working closely with clients and leading the design phase of various water-related projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Engineering calculations and detailed design for a variety of projects, such as:
Water distribution and transmission pipelines, including pumping and storage
Sewer collection systems including, pumping and lift stations
Water and wastewater treatment plants
Improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, environmental or similar engineering from an ABET accredited program
3+ years of experience related to design of water/wastewater systems
Registered as an Engineer Intern (EI) or able to obtain in the next 6 months
Preferred
Master's degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
AutoCAD Civil 3-D Experience
WaterCAD, SewerCAD or other hydraulic modeling software experience
Registered as a Professional Engineer or ability to become a registered PE within 6 months of hire
Strong communications skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
