Redpanda Data is pioneering the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), a new category in AI infrastructure designed for seamless connections between AI agents and enterprise data. The Solutions Engineer will work with the sales team to qualify and close opportunities, provide technical expertise, and improve customer experience through product demonstrations and solution integrations.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the sales team to introduce Redpanda to our potential customers
Lead product and solution briefings, build proof-of-concepts (POC), run live product demos, and prototype Redpanda integrations
Partner with Redpanda product management, engineering and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience
Identify and address customers' key technical objections and develop the strategies to address those blockers to adoption

Required

3-8+ years of prior experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams how to use software similar to Redpanda
Comfortable developing/prototyping solutions in many different languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript)
Passion for working on complex technical problems and have a strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies (Kafka ecosystem preferred)
Strong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers, and open-source users
Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding
Collaborative spirit and enjoy making sure each team gets customer feedback to provide great customer experience
Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences or wherever the work takes you
Comfortable with Linux and Kubernetes
Proficient with one or more of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP and Azure
