Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day building operations, human resources processes, and administrative systems
Serve as a primary point of contact for staff and faculty regarding operational logistics, HR coordination, and building management
Handle basic accounting needs for the College under the direction of the Director of Business Operations
Work closely with the Dean’s Office, the Director of Business Operations, and other administrative leaders to implement business processes
Support hiring and onboarding, maintain facilities and office resources, manage invoices and purchasing, and facilitate internal communication across departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, management, communications, or a related field plus two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative or operations experience
Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis
Demonstrated organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and ability to learn new software and systems
Preferred
Experience working in higher education or a large, complex organization
Experience with HR-related processes such as recruitment, on-boarding, and payroll coordination
Experience managing building or facilities operations
Experience with basic bookkeeping or accounting processes
Knowledge of University of Nebraska administrative systems, including SAP, Firefly, eSHOP, and NuRamp
Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and groups
