Responsibilities

Improve Site and Operational Technology (OT) Software Quality Assurance (SQA) procedures to ensure they fully comply with external standards and requirements and are clearly understood

Provide comprehensive SQA guidance and support to the Site: Apply expert-level subject matter expertise to assist SRNS personnel to become more proficient at SQA Procedure implementation

Interface and collaborate with key stakeholders across the DOE complex to facilitate effective interactions, issue reviews, and corrective action

Act as the Design Authority and/or subject matter expert for applications/tools supporting SQA policies or procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field plus at least ten years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE)

Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

Preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction

Extensive experience in governance, procedural development, and compliance

Proven experience in creating software lifecycle documentation, with a strong ability to leverage this experience to provide effective oversight of policy-related governance and compliance requirements

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to continuously drive process improvement initiatives

Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SQA

Familiarity with DOE/NNSA standards and requirements

Previous experience in a Design Authority role for policy and compliance applications
