The Back End Java Software Engineer will develop and enhance back end Java services and contribute across the full software lifecycle while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance back end Java services for the MFAMS platform

Implement new features and resolve defects across enterprise web applications

Contribute across the full software lifecycle, including testing and deployment

Review and test software components against design requirements

Work within the eVo development environment using approved tools

Support CI and CD pipelines using GitLab

Collaborate with engineers, customers, and leadership

Document technical decisions, updates, and system behavior

Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances

Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas

5+ years of Software Engineering experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years

2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains

Java development

Back end service design and implementation

Understanding of full stack development

Development in the eVo environment

Spring framework experience

Docker familiarity

GitLab version control

CI and CD build and deployment pipelines

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

AWS tools and services

Application security policy implementation

Software lifecycle support focused on performance and availability

Technical documentation using wiki platforms, XML, or HTML

Strong organization and time management skills

Experience interfacing with leadership and customer teams
