Responsibilities

Support testing efforts on stable-master
Test Skydio drones in a designated outdoor environment, verifying the ability to perform the operations / maneuvers as instructed
Test and evaluate the joystick controllers that accompany the Skydio drones
Record and track bugs through to resolution, identifying trends and communicating them with the manufacturing team
Identify problems and proactively work with flight test engineers to capture issues (summarizing bugs through the JIRA ticketing system)
Aid additional partner teams in their investigations of flight performance (partner teams studying hardware sensitivity to software updates)

Required

You have reliable transportation for traveling to and from testing sites
Drone testing background
Experience testing native mobile applications (iOS, Android)
Demonstrated enthusiasm for things that fly
Very detail-oriented communication and a tenacity for documentation
Test experience in a manufacturing setting
Interest in spending lots of time outdoors
Part 107 License
Quarterly Travel to HQ (San Mateo, CA) for Together Weeks

Preferred

High School / Bachelor's degree preferred
