Responsibilities

Create CAD drawings for engineering projects

Create plan and profile sheets, as well as CAD file exhibits and structural detail sheets

Complete redline markups

Perform work from sketches, verbal instructions, and notes

Maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures within the specialty field

Perform other duties as assigned

Create 3-D Bridge models using Open Bridge Modeler

Qualification

AutoCAD Civil 3DMicroStation CONNECT EditionOpenBridge ModelerTechnical CAD knowledgeEffective communicationInterpersonal skillsAdaptability

Required

Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience

1-2 years' experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation SS4, MicroStation CONNECT Edition, or OpenRoads Designer CE

Technical knowledge of CAD operations and engineering specialty discipline

Effective communication skills, both oral and written

Effective interpersonal skills with coworkers

Must be adaptable to changes in work assignments as project needs evolve

Preferred

5+ years' experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation CE, or OpenBridge Modeler CE

Previous work experience in an AEC related firm

Previous structural detailing experience
