Responsibilities

Managing multiple transportation design projects with focus on client interactions
Providing daily quality control
Managing and training junior level engineers
Assisting with business development
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Ensure all roadway design and construction activities align with jurisdictional standards
Oversee multiple phases of roadway projects—from conceptual planning to final design and construction
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders
Lead presentations, public hearings, and meetings to communicate project goals and updates
Address concerns and incorporate feedback into project development
Manage contracts, billing, and collections to ensure project profitability
Track expenditures and maintain strict cost control throughout the project life cycle

Qualification

GA PE certificationGSWCC Level II certificationHighway design experienceBentley MicroStation V8MS Office applicationsClient engagementStakeholder communicationProject management experience

Required

BSCE or BCE required
10+ years of highway design and 2+ years of project management experience required
GA PE and GSWCC Level II certification required
Experience with Bentley MicroStation V8 and MS Office applications required

Preferred

Experience with Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred
Experience with Georgia DOT PDP preferred
