Chemical Engineer R & D Intern (Summer 2026)

As an R&D Chemical Engineer Intern, you will gain pilot plant scale manufacturing experience while assisting in product manufacturing, developing metrics for product quality, and troubleshooting plant process problems.

Responsibilities
Assist in product manufacturing at Dyno Nobel’s brand new Pilot Plant
Develop metrics for tracking product quality
Troubleshoot and resolve plant process problems
Maintain data summaries on process conditions to ensure maximum operating efficiencies
Involvement with researching and design of projects
Observe detonation testing experiments on products YOU produced!
Responsible for modification and improvement projects through all phases of design, equipment and material specifications, construction and inspection
Qualification
Required
Junior level standing pursuing bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, or related field
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
