Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure facility compliance with IDPH regulations and other applicable federal and state laws
Conduct regular audits, surveys, and reviews of clinical and operational practices
Provide consultation and recommendations to facility leadership on regulatory matters and quality improvement initiatives
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Administrators, and other leadership staff to address regulatory concerns
Serve as a resource for staff education and training on regulatory compliance and best practices
Prepare and support facilities for state surveys and inspections
Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain compliance and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum of 3 years of experience in skilled nursing, including leadership or management roles
In-depth knowledge of IDPH regulations and federal long-term care requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence facility leadership
Proven experience in quality improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance
