Manager, Metrics & Reporting
CIBC US is building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world and is seeking a Manager, Metrics and Reporting to support their Technology, Infrastructure and Innovation team. The role involves consolidating, analyzing, and reporting key performance and risk metrics to drive informed decision-making and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Consolidate and standardize the collection and reporting of metrics across US TI&I, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to business leaders
Refresh and maintain a comprehensive suite of metrics, including but not limited to Risk Appetite Statements (RAS), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), business performance, strategic initiatives, Board, and Executive Committee (ExCo) reporting
Leverage Power BI and Tableau to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and supporting strategic business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, streamline reporting processes, and implement improvements based on stakeholder feedback
Facilitate effective cross-border collaboration by supporting the reporting needs of both the US management team and Canadian colleagues/management, ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant information is delivered to all stakeholders
Develop and deliver regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards for senior leadership, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance
Support the preparation of materials for Board and Executive meetings, ensuring that metrics are presented in a clear and compelling manner
Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making within US TI&I by promoting the use of metrics and analytics in business planning and execution
Ensure that all existing business processes remain effective, efficient, and compliant with organizational standards by regularly reviewing, updating, and optimizing them
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in business or related area
Minimum 7-10 years of reporting and metric analysis
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis, formula creation, and automation using macros
Proficient in other Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, & SharePoint
Power BI and Tableau experience required
Knowledge of risk management frameworks; familiarity with Risk Appetite Statement and Key Risk Indicator concepts
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Adapts well to fast-paced and changing environment
Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to Senior Leadership
Able to operate at both strategic (establishing direction) and tactical (providing detailed guidance and troubleshooting) levels
Curious about banking, strategies, businesses, and people
Ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders and team members
Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders
Strong analytical skills; ability to apply logical solutions to business problems
Ability to identify issues and properly document and escalate them
Successfully oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
Work independently; take initiative
