Recruitment Partner
MHW Search is seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Partner to join their firm and lead business development within the real estate sector. The role involves managing executive-level searches and expanding the firm's client base while acting as a trusted advisor to clients. The ideal candidate will bring an established book of business and a proven track record in real estate recruitment.
Responsibilities
Lead business development efforts by leveraging existing client relationships and actively expanding the firm’s real estate client base
Execute full-cycle recruitment processes for mid- to senior-level searches across investment, development, asset/property management, construction, and corporate functions
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent strategies
Manage multiple searches simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality candidates
Mentor and support team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture
Partner with leadership to shape the firm’s growth strategy and identify new market opportunities
Qualification
Required
5-10+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on real estate
Established book of business and demonstrated ability to generate consistent client revenue
Proven track record of filling executive and leadership positions in real estate investment, development, and operations
Deep understanding of real estate asset classes (multifamily, industrial, office, retail, mixed-use, hospitality, etc.)
Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate independently and as part of a leadership team
Strong business development, relationship management, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills
