Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies using tools like Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps
Drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and foster a culture of iterative delivery
Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to align priorities and expectations
Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables
Understand core data concepts, including data modeling, governance, and integration patterns
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with enterprise architecture
Support adoption of modern platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI) and self-service analytics tools
Serve as Scrum Master or Product Owner when needed to unblock delivery
Assist with backlog prioritization and dependency management across multiple teams
Deliver executive-level status reports and dashboards on project health and KPIs
Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans clearly to leadership and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field; PMP or Agile certification (PMI-ACP, CSM) preferred
8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in data and analytics initiatives preferred
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project)
Familiarity with data platforms, BI tools (Power BI), and cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with DataOps practices and enterprise-scale data modernization projects
Working knowledge of SQL and ability to interpret technical documentation is preferred
PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PfMP, PMI-PgMP or recognized equivalent required
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6-8 years of prior relevant experience
