Responsibilities
Manage bureau support personnel and daily office operations
Maintaining a pleasant work environment
Ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety
Support the overall work of the RIS Bureau
Assist CEIC in supporting the development and distribution of census information
Producing materials
Website content
Assist with CEIC’s role in executing Census programs
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma (college degree is preferred, but not required)
5 years of business office management experience is preferred
At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred
Financial acumen to manage office expenses, invoices and contracts through the State of Montana accounting and budget software
State agency processes or a similarly related office environment
Office support functions and database management
Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Effectively communicate and build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple competing priorities
Motivate others to achieve important goals
Adapt to an ever-changing work environment
Preferred
5 years of business office management experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
