FP&A Manager

Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting scenario analysis, growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic decisions
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership
Drive variance analysis and performance reviews across plants, product lines, and customers
Develop financial commentary and variance explanations for internal and external management reporting
Conduct detailed profitability analysis by plant, product, and customer
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify efficiency opportunities and ensure accurate and timely responses in line with business needs
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Manage and lead cross functional collaboration efforts
Act as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leadership
Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making
Identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations to improve margins and performance
Support pricing, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and operational performance metrics
Lead manufacturing variance analysis and reporting, highlighting root causes and improvement opportunities
Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and financial insight generation
Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A and/or financial analyst team members
Establish best practices, standardization, and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Lead or support ad hoc analysis, strategic projects, and executive initiatives as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred)
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance
Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence finance and non-finance stakeholders
Proven leadership capabilities and ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and operational finance
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; ERP and BI system experience preferred
Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet tight deadlines
Confident, collaborative leader with strong business judgment and customer-service orientation
