Responsibilities

The candidate will perform volitional drug (e.g., cocaine, heroin) IVSA experiments in mice and rats to explore the molecular underpinnings of substance used disorders
Beyond drug self-administration behavioral experiments, the candidate will perform genomic sequencing (including single-cell sequencing), proteomics, metabolomics, and other relevant methodologies
They will also perform stereotaxic surgeries to assess the impact of viral mediated gene therapy on SUD-related phenotypes
Drug IVSA, behavioral analysis of SUD-related phenotypes, genomic sequencing, basic molecular & biochemical methodologies
