Responsibilities

Foster a cohesive team culture through on-site hands-on leadership that sets clear expectations and promotes accountability and motivation
Optimize resource allocation by managing scheduling, material procurement, equipment, onsite/offsite trucking, and logistics to ensure crews have what they need when they need it
Protect profitability by recognizing scope changes early and handling change orders
Ensure smooth and efficient site operations by maintaining clear communication between Project Manager, crews, the office, other trade subcontractors, vendors, and clients, proactively resolving conflicts and delays
Minimize risks by enforcing safety protocols, holding regular training, and maintaining a safe work environment
Build trust with clients and stakeholders by consistently executing projects and maintaining strong relationships that reinforce reliability

Required

Expertise in site development and heavy civil work
Ability to translate blueprints, spec books, and grading plans to precise cut-and-fill calculations and laser/transit/level grade setting
Experience with underground utility blueprints including water mains, sewer mains, storm drainage, electrical, and gas
Strong leadership skills to manage union craft employees
Ability to foster a cohesive team culture through on-site hands-on leadership
Experience in managing scheduling, material procurement, equipment, onsite/offsite trucking, and logistics
Ability to recognize scope changes early and handle change orders
Strong communication skills to maintain clear communication between Project Manager, crews, office, other trade subcontractors, vendors, and clients
Experience in enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
Ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders by executing projects and maintaining strong relationships
