The role involves managing daily accounting entries, leading the quarterly close process, and supporting the annual audit process.

Responsibilities
Record daily accounting entries based on bank activity
Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations
Lead the quarterly close process and prepare quarterly reporting packages for management review
Review quarterly financials for foreign subsidiaries and consolidate results with the U.S. parent entity
Review and analyze employee expense reports and prepare weekly spending summaries
Support expense allocation and quarterly billing to applicable funds
Assist with the annual audit process
Review and approve invoices prior to payment
Complete additional ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or business from an accredited institution, with a strong academic record
One to two years of relevant experience in public accounting or a related field; private equity experience preferred
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to independently solve complex problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment and an eagerness to expand knowledge
Team-oriented, energetic self-starter with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively as part of a team
Capable of supporting multiple projects under tight deadlines
Maintains high ethical and professional standards
Preferred
Private equity experience preferred
Experience with the Workday general ledger platform is a plus
