Responsibilities
Full-time schedule includes 1 session (1/2 day) clinical administrative time and a minimum of 1 session supported academic time (8+1+1)
Minimal weekly night call for own patients and shared weekend/holiday coverage (1:10)
Clinical emphasis on outstanding comprehensive internal medicine care across sites that include the General Internal Medicine Teaching Practice, the Special Diagnostic Clinic, and more
Assumption of partial practice due to retirement, as well as new patients
The team is supported by a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy students and residents, clinical psychologists, a dietician, and a health educator
Academic emphasis on faculty and career development, with supported time and resources for education, research, scholarship, service, and academic advancement and promotion
The team is supported by data analyst, research coaching and start-up/pilot project funding
Qualification
Required
Internal Medicine physician
Engaged in high quality, personalized and attentive care
Self-motivated and engaged in long term professional growth and career development
Preferred
Experience in academic internal medicine
Interest in teaching, research, process improvement, innovation and scholarship
Benefits
4 weeks PTO and 1 week CME.
