Commercial Project Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain deep technical expertise and commercial knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and industrial automation applications
Stay current with control and automation standards, particularly those relevant to industrial automation and critical infrastructure
Be a technical expert supporting Marketing and Sales in pre-sales engagements related to Controls and Design Software, including system architecture reviews and recommendations
Create technical documentation, presentations, webinars, videos, and other resources to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team and domain experts
Support trade shows by developing presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on labs
Conduct customer demonstrations both remotely and at Customer Solution and Experience Centers

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
The ability to travel 15% of the time

Preferred

Typically requires 8 years of relevant experience with recognized technical expertise in automation solutions and strong application knowledge
Experience developing, supporting, and implementing automation control solutions
Experience presenting to both executive and technical audiences
Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation products such as Studio 5000 Logix Designer, ControlLogix and/or CompactLogix controllers and modules, and FactoryTalk Analytics
Domain expertise in smart machine concepts, including Industry 4.0 and IIoT
At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
