Fluids Technician- Part Time

Vallen USA is an industry leader in delivering flexible supply chain solutions, and they are seeking a Fluids Technician to ensure proper maintenance and operation of machinery. The Fluids Technician will be responsible for checking, measuring, and adding various forms of metalworking fluids to machinery and performing other related duties.

Responsibilities

Check fluid reservoir levels and measure fluid concentrations in machinery and/or sumps

Add fluids in the correct ratios to sump and/or machinery as required (e.g., product coolant, water, lubricant, etc.)

Record data for each sump and/or machinery

Support change-out of metalworking fluid systems under customer direction

Clean sump screens

Change filters

Monitor fluid inventory levels and report when inventory is low

Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent; directly applicable experience may be substituted

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Accurately read and understand measurement devices
