Responsibilities
Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial garage doors, gates, and operator systems
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections on doors, gates, and related components
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams for accurate installations
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and participate in required safety training
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and time records
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed
Keep service vehicle stocked, organized, and in good working condition
Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed and system functionality
Assist with special projects or emergency service calls as assigned by the Branch Manager
Qualification
Required
Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial garage doors and gates
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to doors and gates
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and lead technical aspects of projects
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments
