Responsibilities
Design and implement automation solutions for interdepartmental use
Collaborate with engineering, embedded software, and other teams to develop automated processes to test Lion energy Products
Develop, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems
Support troubleshooting and process improvements across facilities
Design Electrical Schematics
Design Automated machines and systems
Document, test, create standard operating procedures and validate automated systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics (or equivalent experience)
Experience with PLC programming (AB, Studio 5000), industrial sensors, and control systems
An ability and willingness to learn how automated equipment works and how to fix and improve them
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Use hand and power tools to build and wire machines
Basic Microsoft Office capability; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred
Familiarity with robotics, data acquisition, or energy storage systems
Python coding, Linux systems, and other computer-based knowledge
