The company is seeking a qualified individual to join their accounting team primarily responsible for account reconciliations and analysis, supporting the monthly accounting close, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities
Prepare account reconciliations and analysis, including bank accounts and customer/vendor accounts
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
Maintain financial records. Records transactions and journal entries
Participate in improving and documenting accounting processes
Provide various analytical support for the accounting team and in support of the monthly accounting close
Respond to inquiries from other departments, customers, vendors, etc
Assist other team members and complete other tasks and duties as assigned
Keep sensitive information confidential
Qualification
Required
A BS degree in accounting
Accounting expertise gained from training and/or experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
Experience working with accounting systems
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
Must be able to walk in an office and production environment up to 100% of the time
Must be able to exchange accurate and concise information verbally in person and on the phone
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
