Responsibilities
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on capital projects requiring a validated cost schedule control system
Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that projects are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
Prepare budgets and schedules for capital projects and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
Monitor funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections
Incorporate scope changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each project to maintain realistic EAC cost and schedule baselines
Perform miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly Business Management Reviews (BMRs) to leadership
Continually assess and improve financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting – OR – Master's degree with 1+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Microsoft Office experience, including MS Excel (expert), Teams, Outlook, Word
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
US Citizenship is a prerequisite
Preferred
Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Oracle Primavera, BI Tools, and Sharepoint document sharing
Department of Defense (DoD) experience
Aerospace, Space, or Defense industry experience
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
