Responsibilities

Provides leadership, direction, and effective project management to ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations

Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies

Plans, organizes, manages, and controls projects with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements with an adherence to Federal Regulations and company standards

Typically manages a single large or mega project or multiple, complex projects/programs with some high-risk elements

Ability to visualize and design new concepts and ideas related to technical/functional projects

Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and sometimes lead organizational change effectively within project scope

Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals

Typically manages work directly through project leads or other project managers

Often serve as a proposal manager for large and mega projects
