As a Health and Safety Intern, you will assist in managing H&S activities, support field operations, and participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure compliance with HSE Performance Standards.

Responsibilities
Assist with managing, planning, and coordinating H&S activities at one or more of Dyno Nobel's locations
Support field Operations and Business Unit leadership with development and implementation of sustainable management strategies to achieve Company H&S management system objectives
Participate in continuous improvement activities, teambuilding workshops and special working groups to continually improve performance and replicate best practices
Responsible for participating with implementation of corporate standards regarding H&S
Learn ways to reduce risk of employee injury, community impact and property loss
Qualification
Required
Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Ergonomics, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, industrial hygiene, engineering safety or similar field
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
