Responsibilities
Work closely with the business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within feature documents
Represent these needs to the development teams in order for them to create user stories and sprint plans
Work with the architecture teams to develop and overall product vision
Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog
Communicate to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Lead testing / product feedback sessions with the business users and capture new ideas or gaps
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Qualification
Required
A degree in Engineering or Business (with operations management experience)
Minimum experience: Mid-level
Preferred
Training or Certification in the following CSPO, SAFe POPM, CSM, PSM a plus
A quick understanding of new operations and process assessments
The ability to ask smart questions and provide persuasive responses
Detail oriented with good listening skills
Able to create basic tools (spreadsheets, reports) using standard software such as Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Creative problem-solving capabilities to meet assigned objectives
