Aflac Asset Management, LLC, is seeking a Global Investments Intern for their 10-week summer internship program. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to trade operations, supporting trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation tasks while developing knowledge in investment operations and cash management processes.

Responsibilities

Support daily trade operations activities across Aflac investment entities, including trade processing, settlement support, and reconciliation tasks

Assist with operational reviews across multiple investment accounts to help ensure accuracy, sufficient cash positioning, and timely trade settlement

Partner with internal teams and external brokers to help resolve trade-related inquiries and support ongoing operational workflows

Contribute to small process-improvement projects by documenting procedures, identifying efficiency opportunities, and assisting with basic automation or reporting enhancements using Excel

Required

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Proficiency in Excel

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

All candidates must have eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. and must be physically located in the continental U.S. for the duration of internship

Working time zone is Eastern Standard Time in New York City

Worker Designation: hybrid work schedule – minimum of 3 days per week and excited to have in-person learning for the summer of 2026
