The Summer Intern in Category Management will assist various teams in supporting strategic initiatives through data analysis and insights, contributing to growth efforts for the Wrangler and Lee brands.

Responsibilities
Assist KAR in managing stand-up of new Alation data catalog through collection of data dictionaries and build out of the document hub within the platform
Support KAR in workspace clean-up, curation design for reporting, exploratory reporting, etc
Assist Marketplace Insights in analyzing marketplace performance to identify opportunities for assortment, pricing, and promotional improvements through weekly trend summaries and recommendations
Assist Consumer Insights through research on behavior and trends, deliver a short report on emerging opportunities for key categories
Support Category Management by compiling and visualizing sales, rank, and share data
Create dashboards or reports highlighting top SKUs and assortment gaps
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Microsoft Office experience – strength in Excel and PowerPoint will be leveraged
Self-driven with strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to manage elements of multiple tasks concurrently
Passion for data and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
Preferred
Experience in data visualization tools a plus, i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma
