Start in 2026 SummerShawmut Design and Construction is looking for college students to join their Finance Team as interns for the summer of 2026. The role involves supporting Project Accountants, learning about Finance workflows, and assisting with internal accounting needs.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Project Accountants to ensure daily tasks are complete
Learn the systems and imaging software used including CMiC and Kofax
Learn about the different workflows in the Finance department
Interact with other departments such as Group Finance to ensure projects are running smoothly and vendors are paid timely when properly compliant
Support our internal clients on Accounting needs
Transition between departments to understand how we interact and work together
Assist Corporate Accounting in reconciliations
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Preferred
Rising Junior or Seniors preferred
