Responsibilities
Lead the design and deployment of hybrid infrastructure solutions integrating Azure cloud and on-prem systems
Develop infrastructure governance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
Oversee daily infrastructure operations, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards
Manage Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, Active Directory) and on-prem resources
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell
Drive cost optimization and resource utilization across environments
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to optimize deployments
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers
Use tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and on-prem monitoring solutions for proactive incident management
Ensure adherence to regulatory and security requirements across cloud and on-prem platforms
Qualification
Required
8+ years of strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security)
8+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
8+ years of hands on experience with on-prem Dell EMC hosts, VMware, unity storage and barcode FC switches
8+ years of experience in Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and CI/CD pipelines
8+ years of experience with disaster recovery and backup solutions
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, load balancing)
Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations and migration strategies
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities
