They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op/Intern to provide hands-on experience in mechanical areas, supporting engineering staff on various projects and tasks.

Responsibilities
Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations
Investigate, gather and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas
Implement new manufacturing processes and technology
Analyze assignments and determine engineering specifications
Compile necessary information to document the design solution required for adoption of a design
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university
Willing to work hands-on with tools and mechanical equipment
Strong organizational skills and written communication skills
Computer skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word
Self-managed, hard-working, great attitude, ready to learn
AutoCAD experience in 2D and 3D
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Availability to work 24-40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Friday, ongoing (not seasonal)
Demonstrated physical abilities to remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence; maneuver through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating catwalks and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs
Preferred
Experience in Inventor considered a plus
Solidworks is a plus
